PRESTON MOORE
Sports Reporter / Anchor / Podcaster / Photographer

ABOUT

Hello! My name is Preston Moore, welcome to my website! Let me tell you a little bit of my story.

I grew up in Amarillo, Texas, where I found at an early age that writing and photography were two of my greatest passions. At age 16, I founded an entertainment news website titled The Cinema Spot. As Editor-In-Chief, I worked with hundreds of talented journalists form around the globe and grew the brand to over 5,500 social media followers.

After stepping down from my role as Editor-In-Chief four years later, I began working as a reporter and critic for various entertainment news websites including Screen Rant and The DisInsider. I have written, hosted and produced two podcasts: Post Credit and Unofficial Experts. I also have a personal blog on this site.

I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Media. There, I was able to work as a multimedia sports reporter, anchor and producer for the television shows The Poke Report and Pete's Corner. I also worked as a reporter for the print newspaper The O'Colly. My academic achievements include Dean's Honor Roll, a 3.4 program GPA and a 5.5 in Analytical Writing on the GRE, 98th percentile. Currently, I am attending New York University, a top-five journalism graduate school in the country, in pursuit of a Master of Arts in American Journalism.

Additionally, I've worked as a wildlife, portrait, landscape and Disney Parks photographer and videographer, as well as holding photography positions in various other organizations such as ModMuze Magazine. I have also worked for Walt Disney World Resort and Oklahoma State University in leadership positions.
